Visit & Celebrate

A place for every occasion

A place for life’s biggest moments — and its quieter ones too. From weddings above the coast to baptisms, farewells, concerts and community gatherings, St Oswald’s welcomes every occasion with the same warmth it has offered for almost a century. The church door is also simply open, every day from 7am to 7pm, for anyone who’d like to stop in for a few quiet minutes.

A beautiful church in a remarkable setting

Set on a dramatic stretch of the Marlborough coast, St Oswald’s offers a truly special place to marry. The restored stone church seats up to 80 guests and welcomes ceremonies led by a marriage celebrant or representative of any faith — your wedding doesn’t need to follow a particular religious tradition. Outside, the grounds and surrounding coastal landscape make a stunning backdrop for photographs, with plenty of room to gather afterwards for drinks and canapés. For those celebrating a little longer, there’s also space for a marquee reception in the grounds. Whether you’re planning an intimate ceremony or a larger celebration with family and friends, St Oswald’s gives you the freedom to create a wedding that feels entirely your own.
